Reconnect With the Lord and Experience His Presence

From episode: Inner Healing - Connecting with Father God

Reconnect With the Lord and Experience His Presence
Reconnect With the Lord and Experience His Presence

God is with us, Immanuel – that's what that word means, Immanuel. God is with us. He wanted us to know. He put it in his name that he'd be here with us. You know, God isn't so silly that he would create us in such a way where we wouldn't be able to understand or tell that he was here. He's so intentional that he would go above and beyond to ensure that we could connect with him. I reason that one of the ways that we've managed to disconnect from the Lord is we've just not given enough value to who he is, and that every day, the mundane – I mean, the thing is, nothing about God is every day or mundane. He's constantly amazing. And so, when we find that, it's like the blinders come off, kind of like Paul on his road to Damascus, the blinders fell off and he could see, you know, and that's what happens to us. Our eyes get opened, our ears can hear. So, thank you for joining us, and I pray that this time would be super valuable for you and that you would notice, you'd notice God all around you, and you would encounter him, encounter his love, encounter his mercy, his joy, his hope, his faith. And encounters are any moment that we have with God, any moment, we just know that he's real. If you've had a moment like that, which I'm sure you have, you have in the past, you have a history with him, that's the way he is, those moments are valuable, and we want to do what we can to help cultivate more of those in the body of Christ, so thank you for listening. And let me pray and we'll get started, we'll read through the word and we'll do a little activation. So, Lord, we thank you so much, thank you for your presence now in this moment. You're so available to us and we ask Father for our perception to be able to just really ignite and be available to this moment. Lord, what are you doing? Are you joyful? Are you optimistic? Are you loving? Are you in any kind of need? It says that Jesus thirst, I just think that's so amazing, Jesus thirst. He had a thirst on the cross, he had a thirst with the woman at the well, he had a need. Lord, is there anything you need? Is there any way that we can pull up beside you? I know it's silly, we always need you to pull up beside us, but is there some way for us to do that for you? Let us, help us to invite ourselves into your invitation to receive what you have, receive what you're giving, like it was the sweetest part, the sweetest thing we could possibly have, the most valuable thing there is. Lord, help us to long for what you have for us in this moment. Thank you so much for that, Lord. Thank you, Father. Thank you for the authority that you've given us, and in Jesus' name, I bind up any hindrance, any nuisance, any kind of head trash or noise that would prevent you from getting your full reward in this moment right now. We just bind it up in Jesus' name, and we put it at the feet of Christ, the feet of the Christ.
